From February the global advertising agency Ogilvy is officially changing its partner in Slovakia. The CD-Ogilvy & Mather Agency is thus losing half its name, which will be used by one of the best-performing domestic agencies, Istropolitana D’Arcy, becoming Istropolitana Ogilvy from the start of February 2009. The agency will join the Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide group, which is part of the global group WPP World, based on contracts of affiliation. Istropolitana had this contract in order to be entitled to use the name of an already nonexisting advertising group D’Arcy, which was dissolved by the mother company Publicis, in 2002.
